新金山中文学校创建于1992年，原名焦点文化学校，由时任《焦点》杂志社主编孙浩良先生发起创办，1993年2月6日正式开学。1994年1月起采用“新金山”这个名称，并于2003年依照澳大利亚商标法正式注册。
新金山学校培养出的学生在澳大利亚的各类考试中都取得了优异的成绩。在历年的维省VCE中文考试中，最顶尖的学生大都出自新金山；在中国政府举办的汉语水 平考试中，拿头奖的大部分学生也都出自新金山；在维省各个私校和精英中学的奖学金考试中，多数优胜者还是出自新金山。新金山中文学校已经成为一所周末精英 学校。它不仅在维省中文教育中名列前茅，在主流的精英学校中也有很高的声望。

Welcome to Chinese Association of Michigan!
CSAMi is a volunteer based educational Non-profit organization registered in the State of Michigan. It is specialized in promoting multi-cultural diversity in the community, particularly in Chinese language and culture.
